Contributions through Tebex go directly into running The Tackroom. That includes server hosting, licensed scripts, MLOs, props, and ongoing development work.

After server expenses are covered, a small percentage goes toward founder compensation. Running a server of this size takes significant daily time across management, development, bug fixes, and community operations. This was discussed with the staff team before it went into effect.

Our staff are volunteers by choice. There are no mandatory time requirements or pay obligations. We check in with the team regularly, and they consistently choose to be here on their own terms.

We also work with a paid third-party developer for specific technical needs. Outside of that and the founder's percentage, no staff members receive payment from server contributions.

A Note on Real Estate

Membership tiers that include YMap housing eligibility do require a processing period. Our Real Estate team is a small group of volunteers, and requests are handled in the order they come in. We know wait times aren't ideal, and we appreciate your patience. Every eligible request is tracked and will be processed.

Thank you for supporting The Tackroom.
